Entries are pouring into the Noceti Grupe office for the $3000 to win, 125 lap NASCAR Western Late Model and Westcar Late Model feature, along with the $2000 to win Modified feature, $1000 to win ALSC feature, and $2000 and $500 to win Enduros.

The event is also the first round of the Altamont Motorsports Park MEGABUCK$ and Big Dog series, with Big Dog points fund totaling $16,300 and the season-long track fund paying over $100,000.

Entries are still being accepted, with payment options and entry forms online at nocetigrupeinc.com. Noceti Grupe Inc has announced that all purses will be guaranteed for this event regardless of car count.

NASCAR licenses are required for the points-paying Late Model, Modified, and ALSC features, and West Coast Enduro will be presenting both days Enduros. Sunday’s feature line-ups will be set by Saturday’s heat race finishes, with Sunday’s Late Model feature taking on a unique format.

Following special introductions of the Late Model drivers, to be announced, 36 Late Models will take the green flag for 100 laps. This will be followed by a break to add fuel and make small adjustments. Drivers will then return to the track for a 25 lap sprint to the $3000 finish.

Announcements of fan entertainment continue to raise the bar. Fans will have the opportunity to view the NHRA championship drag racing cars of central valley star Bob Panella both days.

Former and current racing champions such as Ryan Philpott, James Dulla, Tony Noceti, Ryan Mock, Ron Strimiska Jr, Harry Belletto, 1966 Stockton Hardtop champ Tony Quirello, 2007 NASCAR West Series champ Mike David, and all-time Stockton 99 Speedway track record holder Johnny Brazil will be on hand to sign autographs.

Special T-Shirts will be for sale that can be signed by the champions.

Sunday’s festivities will also feature a huge custom car show and parade, with well over 100 cars expected.

The vendor midway is beginning to take shape, with more than half of the 40 available midway spaces claimed, and many give-aways will be available for the fans.

A special souvenir program is also being prepared that will enter fans into several huge raffle drawings.
